Reflection
In general, we think that we did a good job. Setting up the weebly page was quite easy, and we have divided the work fairly. We did have a couple of struggles, such as, mass media putting their findings in our section and Jamie Leigh kept forgetting the general question, but we fixed that without any problems. But besides that everyone did their task and everything went according to plan. We finished everything on time except Jamie Leighs part as I mentioned.
The process of making this research report is divided in 3 “parts”, the first thing which we did was dividing all the parts amongst us. The second thing we did was the actual research like the interviews or making the collaboration report. And last but not least was uploading everything on the Weebly page and making sure that we didn’t forget anything.
How did we divide the tasks?
First of all Jordan interviewed her grandma (Leny) and her mom (Shirley), Jamie Leigh interviewed her Grandma (Judy) and her mom (Bianca), Owen interviewed his grandma (Lieneke) and his mom (Meryl) and Lars put everything on the Weebly pages and made changes if needed. Secondly we divided the other tasks too, so Owen made the collaboration part and Lars the collaboration report. Jamie Leigh and Jordan made the conclusion part , Stephanie wrote the differences between the grandparents and parent and made the reflection part together with Lars. Jordan also helped with the Weebly page, like putting in more information and organising a few things for the setup.
And unfortunately our collaboration with our Indian peers wasn’t that great, because we only had 1 skype call with them and we didn’t have a WhatsApp group or another skype call. If we could do one thing over it would be the skype call so that we could ask for their number to make a WhatsApp group.
The one thing that we really need to improve in the future is that we should finish things earlier so we won’t have to do anything in the end. But overall we worked really well together and we didn’t come across a lot of difficulties.
